JDP Preschool - Assistant PreK Teacher

Joyful Discovery Preschool at Mary, Queen of Peace is seeking a qualified, dedicated and outgoing candidate for the position of Assistant PreK Teacher for Fall of 2020.

(8:1 student/teacher ratio) This position is 19 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (9am-1:30pm daily, with an additional planning hour to equal 19 hours per week).  Competitive compensation depending on experience (no benefits at this time).

You will have the opportunity to make a difference in children's lives by providing them with a safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual development.  You will teach with a fun and talented team of dedicated teachers and directors, while assisting in the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum.  Applicants will have the aptitude to collaboratively maintain positive relationships with our students, parents and coworkers.  A strong work ethic, excellent communication and classroom management skills are a must.
