Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation, along
with Baptism and Eucharist. Confirmation involves the "sealing" and
strengthening of the Holy Spirit, whose gifts make us more like Christ.
In the Archdiocese of Seattle, those baptized in infancy must be at least 16
years of age by the date of Confirmation to be confirmed. Proximate
preparation for Confirmation begins in the middle-school and early
high-school years through participation in parish youth programs, such as
The Edge and ANCHOR. Enrollment and participation in
ANCHOR is required for at least one year prior to beginning
Confirmation classes. Immediate preparation for Confirmation begins in the
fall with the Rite of Confirmation celebrated in February. In addition to Confirmation
classes and ANCHOR activities, the preparation process includes retreats
and service opportunities.

Are you a Catholic adult who has never received the Sacrament of
Confirmation? It is not too late to do so. Take advantage of our brief, but
comprehensive, Adult Confirmation Program, offered in the winter.
We
also have an intensive Summer Adult Confirmation program oriented especially
toward college students. Please contact Zoltan
Abraham for more details and to register.

Adult Confirmation link or contact Zoltan Abraham,
