What is Children’s Liturgy of the Word?

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children to have the Gospel proclaimed to them at their own level. The children follow the bells and go over to the chapel at the beginning of Mass and return in time for Communion. All children K-5 are invited. Parents are welcome to tag along with shy children.

What kind of programs do you have for teens and preteens?

Life Teen and The Edge are comprehensive programs designed to minister to high school teens (Life Teen) and 6th – 8th graders (The Edge) of all faiths from a uniquely Catholic perspective.  Every Sunday night, we start out with a 5:30 pm Mass that is geared toward the youth, with vibrant music and increased opportunity for teen participation.  Throughout the school year, all the teens are invited to have dinner together following Mass, and then head down to their youth rooms for an evening that engages our youth, bringing them closer to Christ and to the Church in a fun, faith-filled environment.   There are opportunities throughout the year for retreats, mission trips, socials and more.  Please visit www.mqp.org/faithformation/youth.asp for more information.  For more information on high school (grades 9-12) contact Stephen O'Sullivan at 425-391-1178 ext. 114 or lifeteen@mqp.org.  For more information on grades 6-8 contact Anne Ginther at 425-391-1178 ext. 129 or edge@mqp.org.
